Proficiency

I have read a book or two by Richard Scarry.  And since I always read the author and the illustrator's names before I read a story to a kid, Big Funny Kid always wondered why the author was scarey.

I know now that his name is pronounced Ska-Ree.
It is Irish.

Language is funny.

Today we had two performances of "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown".   One in the morning and one at night.  And in between the cast had a full load of school classes.....and so did I.  And so did D-Gang.

I can't speak for their experiences but I can say that I personally delved very deeply into my English Language Learner course.   I got my Abstract written fairly easily but had (still have) soooooo much to understand when it comes to the word "proficiency".

Is proficient the minimum a person needs to move on?
Is proficient above average?
Is proficient better than efficient?

sigh

OK.....All I can say for now is that *I* am efficient.

The cast and crew of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" are QUICKLY moving above where they have ever been before.  Are they proficient?

sigh

I am blowing giant chunks of red boogers due to the process that it takes to make the Little Red Haired Girl an actual Little Red Haired Girl.

Busy Day in Busytown.

Eventually I will be Proficient in this thing called Life.
