Final Answer

Yes.  This is a llama.

Today's blog post has taken a million different twists and turns in my mind.  

So has this day.

A day of Good, Bad and downright freaking UGLY.

sigh

Let's start with the Good.

The cast and crew of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" really brought it tonight.  Proud of them and their hardwork.

The Headmaster of Awesome School is retiring.  And she happens to be a huge Peanuts fan, a champion of the Fine Arts department and an overall AMAZING person.  So tonight's show was dedicated to her. 

Her family was there.  The seniors in the show presented her with a mini Linus blanket (sewing courtesy of My Mother).  From where I stood she handled the moment in her usual composed and classy way but I heard that up close she was a bit damp in the ocular region.



Bottom line:  I heart this woman.  She is an inspiration to me.  And I love it when she gets this bemused look on her face on the few occasions that I have come to her with my heart on my sleeve.  I think she actually takes me seriously and there aren't many people who do.

You are a Good Person, Headmaster.

OK - now the Bad:

Tomorrow's show has been postponed due to the possibility of inclement weather.  Grrrrrrr......not only was this cast on a roll, but I was rather ready to finish this run.   

Anyway, we are going to try to hit it on Sunday. Unless the weather gets  REALLY bad.  Then we shoot for Wednesday.



And the Ugly?


A MOUND of paperwork surrounds me.  ELL case study demographics.  Web 2.0 final project due. 


Post it notes, bills, forms, lists and print-outs. 

E-mails, committee reports, articles.

Grocery lists, dreams and To Do lists.

I am literally buried alive.

Nonetheless, I choose to focus on the Good:



If we *do* eventually get a snow storm, I end up having time to deal with  paperwork. 

FURTHERMORE:

I may sleep in.
