Big Funny Kid decided to go snowboarding today.
In a state with no mountains.
And on a day that was (thankfully) 53 degrees.
MEANWHILE D-Gang apparently went jogging in shorts.
MEANWHILE My Mother decided to make cinnamon rolls and let me tell you what......That Woman can make some serious cinnamon rolls.
So *I* tried to stitch this whole thing together by making chili and hauling over a slight vat of it to D-Gang's house with 21 cinnamon rolls.
It is an apparently a Midwestern thing to pair chilli and cinnamon rolls.
Personally I missed this particular boat when I was growing up here
(I was happy with Spaghetti-O's).
OK.... so we descended on D-Gang's tribe with chili and cinnamon rolls.
It was.........delightful.
Child #1 (Murrbeth) was on her way out for an overnight/scavenger hunt thingie.
Child #2 was wearing her signature horse sweater and I found out that she doesn't care for the Huns.
Child #3 was beside herself that we were there. She was super focused on hugs and her new earrings and not very happy when her hair wrap ran amok.
Child #4 was dressed in the exact same pink leopard print jammies that I have. Not that she cared about this information. She was practicing her demure face when Big Funny Kid gave her another piece of cinnamon roll.
Child # 4 Twin was wearing a full-on dragon outfit. And he was SUPER appreciative of the raw broccoli. Have you ever seen a small kid in a dragon suit eat giant chunks of broccoli?? I have. Fascinating.
We retired to the basement.
We watched "Monster's Inc." and eventually tuned into the Golden Globes.
SUDDENLY Child #1 burst into the room with a camera. "I need a picture of a Ginger for our scavenger hunt".

I posed.
She left.
What a Whacky Winter this has been.
I like whacky.
