OK - this was a crappy picture that I took with my crappy cellphone while I was putting out several fires.....And D-Gang is gonna be unhappy that I posted intellectual property on my blog.....
BUT
There were SEVERAL moments during tonight's first dress rehearsal when my neck just SNAPPED around and stared with a happy face on.
Several.
And I also snapped at people with stupid questions.
I snapped at things that used to be sorted out and no longer are.
sigh
I've said it before and I will say it again. Tech week is like peeling a bandaid off and seeing how things are healing. Sometimes there are maggots. Sometimes there are perfect moments of cohesion.

I gotta snap out of it.
I start at my new school tomorrow and actually haven't exactly figured out how to get Big Funny Kid to *his* school. (He has a giant test. Oh snap!)
My goal is that this week ends up going from a Snap to Jazz Hands.
When my son is in Tech Week I stay as far away as I can from the directors as I can. Lovely people but Tech Week. ug! After they become lovely people again.
