Got my game face on.
I will follow my passions to the end of the earth.
(Bonus? The earth has no end. Galileo says so.)
So last night I was very frustrated that things were going wrong. I was worried that D-Gang wanted to deck me and I was worried that My Mother was mad at me about a meatball. And I was worried that I will not be able to get through the bureaucratic nightmare of my ELL case study project.
D-Gang messaged me this morning and basically said that she would say No to me if I needed to be said No to.
So I said "Fine. Can I have a pony?"
And she said Yes.
SWEET! I am getting a Pony!
I am making baby steps in my Case Study. Right Hand needs verification from the Left Hand. So I didn't get a Yes, but I didn't get a No.
And My Mother affirmed that I didn't screw up the meatball thing. I think.

A couple of actors had a break through tonight at rehearsal. I have no idea why. Did something set in? Did they finally "get it"? Were they just in a good mood? Are they excited for opening ONE WEEK FROM TODAY????
I dunno.

If you are a parent, educator, or overall optimist you have probably discovered that it is important to say YES to a kid who wants to play. YES to a kid who wants to dream. YES to a kid who achieves a goal. YES to a kid who is trying.
Because people respond to YES.
Occasionally they respond to NO but NO eliminates possibilities. NO is an End Game.
YES means....."Where do we go from here?"
At least that is how I feel.

Needed this reminder and am almost ready to receive this message. Will have to come back and read it again as my person becomes more open to receiving it.
