So it is Awards Season and as a card carrying member of the Screen Actor's Guild, I get certain perks around this time. Because of the economy, the perks have gotten less perky but I still manage to get a few DVD's sent my way.......for My Consideration.
Today I got Bridesmaids (stooopid), The Artist (hell yeah), Moneyball (Brad Pitt is easy on the eye), The Descendents (directed by a local guy) and The Help (I do not subscribe to a heartwarming film about a white woman's ability to share a black woman's perspective).
Later this week I will get online screenings of Midnight in Paris and My Week With Marilyn.
Having spent my whole day thinking about ELLs, SPEDS, ELPs, EOs while meeting the CCTC and NCATE guidelines...... I have much to consider.
I will figure it out.
In the word of ol' Bill Shakespeare: "We are such stuff as dreams are made on, rounded with a little sleep" (The Tempest).
Gonna sleep. Perchance to dream.
