Boldness Be My Friend

This day made me crazy.

Back to back meetings this morning of an.....obligatory nature.  I tried to put my best "Yes I Am Totally Interested" face on:

But mostly I was writing a paper in my mind......and trading Shakespearean Insults with D-Gang on my phone under the table.

SHE has the luck of being a bonafide teacher person and her middle schoolers are apparently starting their Shakespeare unit and as such she has introduced them to what can seem to be a daunting language by teaching them how to insult someone in the tongue of The Bard.

Either that or she was just being random with me.

It doesn't really matter because it made me laugh.  While I was trying to look interested.  While coming up with an awesome  Articulation Theory.  (And yes, I do have one.)

I stopped by My Mother's house.  I even brought my own canned pasta product in case she couldn't come through.  But she did.  And I REALLY worked hard on not putting my hands around her bony throat because she apparently decided to have new carpet installed.  Yeah - New Carpet Outgassing is EXACTLY what someone in her respiratory situation needs.

"I wore a mask.....and LOOK!  I am drinking a nutrition shake," she chirped.

God bless her.  She is trying to get better and yet keeps making choices like she is fine.  But she isn't fine.

But she is cute.

sigh

Rehearsal tonight was AWESOME because My Crazy Angel Knitting Pineapple Pajama Jean Wife of My Love Child Named Heather was there.   OK......that is just the nickname I came up at this moment in time.  Actually, this woman has SEVERAL nicknames to me.  And I will have to settle with something more generic.  ERGO - she will henceforth be called......

baa ha ha ha ha....I can't......too many funny things come to mind......

OK, OK, OK....... For the sake of this blog I shall call her Twinkle Toes.

So Twinkle Toes put the cast through their paces with a new dance number and it was brilliant.  So many of these kids are showing true signs of "getting it".

Another dance rehearsal tomorrow.....And I HAVE to get a grip on this paper.  And meet with my new Principal. And go on a costume hunt with D-Gang.  And make sure My Mother is still breathing.

In the words of Billy Shakespeare:
Time and the hour run through the roughest day.
